Pilates Enthusiasts and The CuriousThe power of mat based Pilates to improve balance, strength and flexibility is well known - however, perhaps less commonly known is that Joseph Pilates invented many pieces of equipment to help people "Return to Life” and support their movement. Invest in your practice with whole-body and challenging exercises and improve Balance, Uniformity and Strength in a way that gym equipment just can’t.

Kirsty grew up in nearby Dollar; and now lives in Stirling with her family. After spending time in the computer industry, she swapped a suit for more comfortable clothing and loves helping people to Move Better. An advocate for natural movement, you may find her hanging off the occasional tree or looking for minimal shoes. |

Sabrina grew up in Canada, involved in many sports from a very young age. If she is not in the Pilates Studio helping clients achieve their goals, you will find her on the hills: walking, running, mountain biking, or skiing. She has completed a 3000mile Atlantic rowing adventure; a feat that speaks to her relentless pursuit of new challenges. Her outlook towards life is one of continual learning, overcoming fears and always seeking new experiences. Sabrina is a 2nd Generation fully comprehensive Pilates teacher, carryon on a legacy of knowledge and dedication in the field. |
LEAHLeah is a dedicated health and fitness enthusiast. Her journey with Pilates began several years ago as a means of recovery following injuries, and she quickly developed a deep appreciation for its positive impact on both her physical and mental well-being.
As a people-oriented individual, she was inspired by the opportunity to teach and connect with others; and since qualifying Classical Pilates this has become a true calling for her. She finds immense fulfilment in helping others achieve positive changes in their lives; and loves integrating her personal skills with her enthusiasm for Pilates, outside of her current career in IT. |
KATEI first tried Pilates on holiday in Greece back in 2012 and fell in love with the restorative and energising aspects of the Pilates method. Since then, it has helped me recover and rehabilitate from an achilles injury as well as keeping me generally fit and flexible.
I am a keen tennis player and my husband, and I are regular hillwalkers, and the improved strength, body alignment and posture that I’ve achieved from my Pilates practise has been hugely beneficial to both these activities. After many years working in the travel industry, which sounds glamorous but involves sitting at a desk for long hours, a few years ago I decided to turn my passion for Pilates into a career. I am delighted to be joining The Pilates Studio, with Kirsty and the Team, in September 2025. |
CLARERunning was my route to Pilates. Pilates was cited as a great way to develop core strength to improve performance and to help stay injury free - I was curious to give it a try when a new class opened in my local church hall.
The Pilates method delivered what it promised, and helped to develop a balance and strength in my body that has allowed me to run and move well. Pilates became integral to my physical and mental well-being and wasn’t just for running, but for life. I wanted to learn more about Pilates and trained to teach mat Pilates, and achieved the Level 3 Mat Pilates in 2018, and have been teaching a class since 2019. I am delighted to be joining The Pilates Studio as a Level3 Reformer Pilates teacher, in October 2025. |
