Kirsty Hall

Having spent most of my working life in the computer industry, I discovered Pilates when I was recovering from a knee operation in my 40s - and like many people found that this NO impact exercise programme was exactly what I needed - to relax and restore.
Having then developed a love for the intelligence of the system that is the Pilates Method, I gave up my busy, desk bound, stressy job and trained as a teacher, in 2007.
Since then, I have trained in MANY other modalities that reflect my deep interest in Restorative Movement, and helping people to get out of pain - or sometimes just manage it better through Mindfulness Practice and Self Care tools.
I was first in Scotland to train in the MELT Method with Sue Hitzmann; and Fascia Fitness with Joanne Avison and Robert Schleip, having researched the role of the nervous system in regulation of pain. Furthermore, I am trained in the restoration of natural movement, by Biomechanist Katy Bowman of Nutritious Movement, (one of only a few hundred people in the world). And most recently extremely proud to have trained directly with Dr Anna Campbell in CanRehab - an evidence based Cancer Rehabilitation Training.
I certified as a Yoga Teacher in 2015 with Vidya Heisel, and as a Mindfulness Teacher with the
Mindfulness Association; and trained as a Mental Health First Aider.
And a few more...
