Shoulder, Breast and Chest Health

Looking to explore how to maintain or restore good breast, chest and shoulder health?

Range of motion can become limited through over or under use or trauma and surgical interventions; and many of us ignore this particular focus until something hurts or stops functioning.

Research tells us that cancer cells like to spread through stiff tissue. We will explore movement to promote good breast and chest health. Suitable for both men and women, and especially if you have had surgery or radiotherapy in that area.

Healthy Feet and Hands

Feet and hands are the tools with which we explore the world - the doorways through which most feedback comes. When they don’t cooperate they can stop you (literally) in your tracks.

Sore knee? Hip? Back? Shoulder? Often other niggles can be relieved when tense and neglected feet and hands are loved a little more.

In this session we will use alignment markers to ensure we are reaching parts that other workshops don't reach and learn how to ensure our feet and hands continue to support us through daily life.

Gait Re-patterning

How do you walk? Does it hurt going up or down steps or hills? Do you want to walk, ramble or hike further, faster, higher?

Often we move in the same way, using the same strategies and habits to get around - some bits get overused, and other bits of us are completely sedentary.

This practical Session is aimed at introducing the concepts of moving more of you, AS YOU MOVE.. By learning to use all that is available to us, we move in a more “natural way” and in this way help our body to help itself... for instance, poorly knees get more support, spines are re-aligned and back pain disappears; and neck and shoulders are relieved from the tension of holding the body up!

I will teach you a few self assessments you can start to understand what may be preventing a more supportive and helpful gait pattern.
