Feet are our FoundationMost movement initiates from the feet or passes through the feet at some point, and we don’t tend to pay attention... until something goes wrong.
There are many reasons why this Workshop may interest you: • Your feet hurt • Something else hurts - shoulders, knees, pelvic floor etc..) • Your balance is squiffy • You’d like to perform your sport from an improved platform • Or… if you use your feet everyday and want to keep them healthy This educational workshop will examine some of the main issues that our poor feet suffer from, how to assess where your feet are now, what to look for and how to keep them pain free, supple and responsive. With a programme of fun, interesting, (and at times) thought-provoking activities and movements, we will explore, restore and enhance the health of our feet, because they are worth it. We will be joined by Podiatrist and chum, Nikki Grant of Grant Podiatry in Falkirk. Nikki will give us a talk about how podiatry can help; and perhaps some gait patterns to think about. The MELT Workshops focus on balancing the nervous system to restore and improve efficient signaling, and so we will follow the morning session with a session focusing on both direct and indirect approaches to foot health.
